純正ハードウェアで取り付けます。塗装する際は、どの車体部品でも同様ですが、通常の塗装前の準備が必要で、これには研磨とプライマーが含まれます。製造工程上、まれに表面にわずかな傷がある場合がありますが、通常の塗装下地処理を行う際に除去できます。
底面に強度と支持のためにガラス繊維の「骨格」が接着されています（マットブラックエナメル仕上げ）。
